About Us

Founded in 2018, PLAN (Participatory Learning and Action Network) Foundation was established with a vision to reimagine how communities and institutions respond to climate and waste challenges. Our work brings together participatory learning, systems design, and on-ground implementation to create solutions that are locally relevant, socially inclusive, and environmentally sustainable.

By working closely with communities, sanitation workers, local governments, and institutional partners, PLAN seeks to strengthen the systems that shape everyday environmental outcomes. We focus on building models that can be sustained locally and scaled through existing governance and financial mechanisms, contributing to long-term climate resilience and shared prosperity.

Our Vision

To build a climate-resilient planet where people, nature, and systems thrive together.
