Handcrafted by Purna SHG Communities
Explore handmade products created by Self-Help Groups using locally sourced materials, traditional skills and thoughtful craftsmanship. Each product supports livelihoods while giving everyday materials a new purpose.

Behind Every Product Is a Story
Each product begins with a skill and a way of making that has been passed down or learnt over time. Take a closer look at how members of Project Purna’s Self-Help Groups make these products, from choosing the materials to shaping the final piece. Their stories give you a glimpse into the work that goes into every product.

Handmade by the Kosi SHG Group, these bags are made from reclaimed cotton and fabric scraps. The scraps are sorted by colour, stitched into patchwork panels and quilted for strength.
Each bag is then hand-stitched with reinforced handles and a cotton lining, giving leftover fabric a new purpose as a sturdy everyday tote.
